Very rare indeed, one of the two long lost 69 Z28 built with the rare black grill... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif

RK Motors had one for sale with the same color combo. They said it was 1 of 1.

----I don't want anyone to even remotely think that this Camaro is the one I restored and later was auctioned at Mecums Indy auction. I may not do the absolute top notch restoration but this car is way down the scale. While the car I did was under resto we felt it was the only one, but, obviously there could have been others. Just for starters, the car I did had an endura bumper. That along with about a couple of dozen other things make this number two if the tag is an original..........Bill S

I know the same color combo was on Z10s and there were a whole lot more than one or two of them produced. I can imagine and/or believe somebody saw one of those and wanted a 302 under the hood.

Per this recent thread discussion there are at least 4 cars known with this color combo...could this be #5...then add in all the Pace Cars...

I'm not sure I've seen a "restored" car any more incorrect!!!

Actually, no Z10's have a 720 interior. http://www.camaros.org/69pacer.shtml#Z10

The car has black stripes why is it being compared to a Z10 anyway.

Looks like the seller copied much of their wording used from this Mecum 2011 sale ad, maybe Bill's old car...Endura/Tilt/Rosewood etc also McNeish certified plus original engine loose.

I stand corrected on the Z10. Apparently, the ones (2) I saw in person (same owner) were restored incorrectly. I know the stripes on the subject car here are Black; I was referring to the white/orange houndstooth combo. The ones I did see were part of a "Pace Car" collection and I guess they were changed to mimic the convertibles. Sorry for the confusion; purely unintentional.

No problem. I've seen one or two Z10's with 720 interiors, but they weren't originals.
btw, I'm always looking for more data on Z10's. Just a tag pic tells me a lot (but the VIN helps too).
