My best buddy growing up had an older brother who had a Hemi Orange Demon that he redid, got a T/A 340 block, built it up, etc. Ended up selling it before he ever drove it a mile, ugh. Ever since then I've had a soft spot for them, and I'd love to get one. Nice ride. When did you own that?

Always been a big fan of the Demon and Duster body style but more so for the smaller 69 Swinger 340s. There were two guys that had them in high school, both white with black tops small hub caps, one 4 speed and one auto. Man those things were movers. But...I was hooked when I saw my first 69 Z28 in high school in 1969...I was a freshman then.

Some day I will own a 70 Duster or 71 Demon. Two of my favorite body styles. A high school buddy of mine had a 70 340 4 speed Duster back in 1978-79 which was totally stock and an absolute killer/sleeper on the street.

Nice Demon you have! I poster your pictures on here so people could more easily see them.

Nice looking car..here is the sister to your car..Original Day 2 Duster from my area..original owner, paint, 17k miles. I would stare at this car for hours from my 5th grade classroom back in the mid 70's as he parked it across the street from the school at the Texaco station he worked.

That is actually an exact twin of my fathers duster which is what inspired me to build the demon his was a multiple class winner at new England dragway

Nice job.I remember back in the day that most Mopars had their headers hanging down and you could see them from almost any angle. They were so low that it was hard to hide the head pipes of the exhaust system.I didn't like them like that but it was part of the look.It seemed that Dusters,Demons and Swingers out numbered any other make.I always remember the adds reading "$3000 for 6000RPM."

Speaking of white hanging down from these cars, one of my favorite Day 2 mods I did on my wife's Duster when we were in high school was painting the K-frame white. You can barely see the Direct Connection decal I put on front and center. I've got to find a pic you can actually see it.

Kind of reminds me of the 340 Demon I sold not too long ago. Original paint car (except for the stripped off vinyl top and custom Day Two Demon lettering) and mostly stock, but I warmed up the 340 a bit when I rebuilt it.

Another fun cruiser that I probably should have kept in the stable. Those 340's sure run great! Charlie

We have a kid running around our area with a white '74-'75 Duster. He was fast with a 360 but hurt it...multiple times, then put his brothers Kilpatrick built 318 in it. That thing was really fast....until he blew that up. Too much nitrous will do that! I heard it was in the 9's with nitrous.

They are light cars and can be very quick.
