The wife of Richard Petty has passed -- Lynda Petty was 72 and had been battling central nervous system lymphoma ... thoughts and prayers to the Petty family.

Sorry to hear that news. I met Richard once and he went out of his way to be nice to me. Nice guy. My condolences go out to him and his family.

Sad news and our thoughts and prayers are with the Petty family.
I've spoken w/ Richard at events up here in Canada and he has a wonderful way of making you feel like an old friend.
