i bought a tilt column this weekend that is suppose to be from 69 Camaro -

the code on the bottom of the shaft housing is stamped A709S

the reverse lockout lever is correct - as well as the 2 levers for 69 style.

can anyone tell me what the date means ??

Not aware of any design changes before/after then,so if it's for a camaro, should bolt right in.

The one I have is stamped A8355 and another stamping is 9A107. I was told it came out of a 69 Camaro. Can anyone decipher?

Thanks -- TAZ
