That's a lost art. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/worship.gif
I do Fabrication all day long and only a few of us here can come even close to taking something like that on. We made doors out of 5052 Alum for a AMC Spirt road racer. Nice, but not as many body lines as that. I love metal working!

I have a friend and neighbor who is of the old school. Here is a photo of him leading and pick and filing a 1953 Jaguar. He had to rebuild and repair a lot of previous bad bodywork. http://500px.com/photo/53573348

Wow, that is incredible. It is such as shame that this is a dying and almost lost art. Just like so many other things in this world. When these people are gone these types of restorations will never happen. What an artist.

Excellent craftsman.....What he didn't disclose is the amount of time this required....my estimation would be 60 to 80 hours if you didn't have to start over, which can happen. That would translate to $6,000 to $8,000 USD. approx. This is how you can end up with $250K bodies before paint.

That's one expensive quarter panel. Very impressive. No wonder the down under muscle cars are so expensive!
