Too bad it's not a 455,but still a nice rare car.

Nothing rare about it really. They made alot of 350 automatics.

And considering they never made a 1972 GTO convertible, I'm not sure what "factory GTO package" means. I guess the seller considers the Endura nose option as being a "factory GTO" package?
Unfortunately, I see he drilled a couple holes in the trunklid to mount a 1969-earlier GTO trunk emblem. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif .
There's supposed to be a GTO sticker back there.
Nice looking car though.

That's why I figured it was rare, <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/laugh.gif
So this car is a LeMans Sport?

Yes, Lemans Sport. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/burnout.gif
The Endura bumper was the T41 option, which included the scooped hood. It was advertised by Pontiac as the "Lemans $41 Nose Job". Many people call it the GTO nose, but it was available on 1971-1972 LeMans Sports. They built some station wagons with the T41 nose, even a 4-door LeMans.
Owners, or sellers, or buyers, should all be aware that they never made a 1972 GTO convertible.
