Beautiful car; call me crazy but, I like the '68 Z's better than the more popular '69's.

Interesting numbers...my '68 Z28 is 313 cars later and the engine built 2 days later.
Good luck with the sale.

Nice deal and a truly documented '68 Z-28 w/ original drivetrain a solid investment for someone!
Wow on all this car has going for it, is the cowl cleaner on any paperwork too even if added later?
And is this Harold Chev the same dealer that clean survivor '70 LS5 Chevelle Rick posted here a few years ago came from?

Pete, thanks for the kind comments. This is the same Harold Chevrolet, the facility still operates as Lupient Chevrolet. I understand they moved to the current building in 1967, I have an old brochure from 1969. I have no paperwork on the cowl plen air cleaner. The gent that owned the Z in the mid 70's does recall a small plate covering a hole in the cowl, the hole for the plen air cleaner. I still have this plate, removed at the time of restoration with pictures. Complete South Dakota title history from 1971 when Mike Bird drove to Minneapolis and returned home to Sioux Falls, SD with the Z28.

I've seen this car in person. Very nice attention to detail and correctness. Beautiful paint! Here's a video to let you hear this thing through open headers. It's a beast. Turn it up!
