View Full Version : 1969 Vintage L88 7 16ths pushrods
Not sure if I am in the right section but here goes. The above pushrods - do they have 2 different types of ends? I saw 2 sets being offered on 427 King's E-bay site: one set has the round end, the other set has the "ball" type end. Are these both considered '69 L88 pushrods or is there a mistake for one of these sets to be called L88?
Thanks in advance!
Ted
Let me ask again in a different way. Did the '69 427 L88 and ZL-1 pushrods have "ball-type" ends?
Thanks!

FYI - This came from the publication How To Hot Rod BBCs;
Pushrods with 'steel balls' welded onto the ends came in 3/8ths for the First Design. The second design of this pushrod came in 7/16ths tubular diameter.
Pushrods with the ends pressed onto the pushrods came in 3/8ths tubular diameter for the First Design, and 7/16ths for the Second Design.
I knew I had read this somewhere.
