69 SS350 Nova where is the VIN stamp on the block

I am looking over a 1969 SS350 L48 Nova and I was wondering where is the VIN stamp on the block? Is it on the back of the block above the oil filter like the 1969 Camaro?

All Nova VIN stamps [that I've seen] are on the front pad...never saw one on the block by the oil filter.

I am going to have to pull the alternator and take a closer look at the pad. The block is date code and engine code correct for the car and from what I can see the broach marks look original but I did not see any VIN stamp. Maybe with better lighting and glasses I can find it.
