Browsing eBay and came across this gem. I love it! Survivor would be a loose term but I don't know what else to call it since the paint is so hammered. I would clean it up and drive the wheels off this car in as is shape!

Looked at the link...neat old car.

???the tranny stamp has a letter or something after the date..??

I thought the trans codes [A, B, C] didn't start until fall of 68 for 69 model year.. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif

A lot of 1968 Muncie transmissions had a lower case C after the assembly date on the transmission. No clue why but it doesn't signify anything.

Deals on wheels for 45000. Maybe someone is already flipping it but why would you have someone list it for you.

A few months ago, I found a copy of the original newspaper ad from when this car was for sale as a used car at Central Chevrlet in Fremont CA. Amazing odds that the car has surfaced! I've talked to the owner and the ad will be uploaded to the listing soon.

Some of this documents have pebble beach ca address (I think). From what you could see the doors fit decent and didn't look rusty along the bottom. May have just been stored bad and clean underneath. Would be interesting to look over
