Anybody here service old vintage radios? I've been trying to find someone to look at this 1957 Bulova my wife's mom gave me before she passed but not having any luck. Clock works fine, keeps good time but makes a light sound, not too disturbing, probably needs lubing. The radio comes on but makes an obnoxious humming sound. In my research I think I read that maybe the capacitors need replacing? IDK. It's a really nice radio overall and I really would love to get this working. Can't beat the look. Here is a front and back pic. Any suggestions?

With a name like Bulova, no wonder the clock works!! Neat piece, good luck finding someone to service it.

Yeah. I have talked to a few people that have the very same radio for sale on line but none can tell me who serviced them. Seems like that service is going away too. Kind of have to look for someone that does it as a hobby these days. The last guy I talked to was in his 80's that won't take the work any more.
