Recently ran across a barn find, one owner Messerschmitt KR 200, which I bought. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but seriously thinking about having it restored. It's pretty complete, broken bubble, lots of surface rust, but haven't totally evaluated it yet for deep rust. It was in a barn for the past 40 years, or so.
Wondering if anyone knows a trustworthy restoration shop, preferably in Michigan, or the Midwest, that has restored any Micro cars, specifically Messerschmitt's?
Any leads would be appreciated.

Yup, I found Jim and talked to him before I bought the car and again since I bought it. Great source
of info re the Messerschmitt's and everything I've heard and read about his work is excellent. Not sure how far he is behind he on work right now, but will be staying in touch with him.
Thanks for the lead.

If you need any parts for that, let me know. There are a few parts now on the German Ebay site, and there are other outlets here as well.

And here is a Club website. It's all in German, if you have any questions let me know. Or find someone that can translate as they do have some parts for sale. And google translate works.

You're link didn't work for me, but I found the site with a Google search. I had found the Messerschmitt club in UK, but had not seen this one. My niece is a German teacher in our local school system, so I'll use her to help me
Interpret.
Thanks.
