The Super Chevy Show returned to Martin MI after a 10 year break. Here are a few of the cars that were there. The red 55, blue 68 Z and bronze 66 Chevelle SS were in the gold class. The orange and black 55 had a small block with a crank driven ProCharger and ran low 8's.

If you look at the 68 z-28 underhood picture the fender to hood bumpers are off of my Nova. These guys came over to the Berger trailer and asked if I had any on hand. I said no but what were they looking for? We went over to the Nova and he says these bumpers. I said you can borrow these if you want. You would have thought I had given him a new car. He just needed them for the car to be judged. He said "we will clean them up for you" and I said "leave some of the dirt on them as they wont match the patina of the car". Glad I could make someones day.

This show was a low turnout by all standards. Probably 130 show cars, 25 at the most swap meet venders, on sunday there were probably 50-60 spectator cars in the field. I think that being the first year back in about 17yrs that it wasn't advertised nearly enough. My wife said she heard it on the radio twice and no tv coverage. Hopefully they can build it back up to what it used to be which was really big.
