Hi all, I think this one's a repro but would appreciate a definitive answer:

I'll stick my neck out and say repro. Usually 824s are distorted around hub where the inner reinforcement is swedged into back.
Best way to tell from my experience is install it and start the engine.
I have yet to see a repo that was straight.

Yours look like a repo. The "4" is different than my original.http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2014/06/full-5898-13292-045.jpg

The originals do have the 8 ridges/press grooves on the inner hub that are visible on the outside hub. The font on yours is identical to the older repro pulley I have.

Thanks everyone. I suspected it wasn't an original.

Hello Guys first post so please bare with me
You got me thinking about what were sold as original pulleys I bought about 20 years ago and it looks like they may be reproductions. The water pump pulley I bought has a smooth hub the 4 is different and has a deeper stamping than the original that I have,
The original has the 8 indents into the hub the 4 is different the stamping isn't as deep and also has an S stamped on the opposite side of the hub.
I also purchased a crank pulley 3955291AB from the same guy not sure if it is real or not, the original I have also has an S stamped across from the number stamping.
When did they start the reproductions?
And does anyone else have an S stamped in your original pulleys?

The giveaway for me is the pulley in question does not have a flat top three as the originals do.....Warren
