Greetings sYc

I'm representing a very nice 70 LS 6 Convertible CLONE!! To be Crystal Clear... The body/sheetmetal is a 71 convertible. This was done long ago prior to current owner., everything else is 70. I'm not looking for comments or commentary... It's an ad for anyone looking to buy, not a post in the Forums for opinions <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif

I don't claim to be an expert on 70's... But I do know this car... I've seen it in person and it's really nice! Many who frequent this site have also seen it in person. It's been shown and has won several well respected awards. It may not be for everyone but if you are looking for a sweet ride... This may be it! If it's not your cup of tea., that's ok too. I appreciate the respect to let it be purchased by anyone looking for a really nice convertible. Thank you sYc for letting me post this car here in the classifieds.

$67,500

Check it out at my web site below for full description and photos, I am sorry for any confusion the original ad may have caused to anyone. No intent to deceive anyone is meant. Just email me direct with questions as I see no point in doing that here within ad. The BODY is from a 71 convert .. Nobody cut the roof off of a hardtop <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/crazy.gif

Wow! I thought when I was looking at it that the quarters looked odd to me. But I thought it was the angle of the picture. There is definitely a hump there. That's some work there.

I thought the ad said it was just a 71 convertible changed over to 70 body work, no?

Just for the benefit of someone who doesn't understand <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif ....what "hump" are you referring to??

I thought the ad said it was just a 71 convertible changed over to 70 body work, no?

This is from the website: This car left the Oshawa assembly plant in Ontario, Canada as an original '70 396/M21 4 speed SS coupe. However, a long time ago, before the most current restoration, a previous owner modified the car by using a '71 convertible body over the coupe frame. All of the remaining ‘70 components were attached/installed and I can provide more details of this to anyone serious about buying the car... but for now, this is what is before you.

So does it have a 1971 Convertible VIN or a 1970 Coupe VIN?

It's holding a no console heater box lower duct too.
Does it have a convertible frame or hardtop?
