1970 PONTIAC GTO PHS DOCUMENTED RAM AIR IV JUDGE

According to several Pontiac people this is one of 5 or 6 Ram Air IV 4-speed 1970 Judges known to exist with original drivetrain, and the only Ram Air IV Orbit Orange 4-speed Judge known with its original born with matching #’s drivetrain still intact. After the frame off restoration (in which NOS parts were used whenever possible), the car was taken to Scott Tiemann’s shop to dial it in. Scott told John the owner/friend to leave it with him and he would correct a few things. John came back from a business trip a few days later to find that Scott, being the perfectionist he is, had nearly disassembled the entire car and was going back through it again to make it as perfect as possible. Scott's goal was to replicate the details in photos he had of a 12,000 mile original owner Judge built within a few months of this car. Upon completion it was entered in the prestigious Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance where it won "Best In Class" for American Performance Cars and the POCI and GTOAA Convention where it also won the Gold. The most recent award was a Gold at the GTO Co-Vention in Dayton, Ohio. You would be hard pressed to find a better example of a Ram Air IV Judge. $185,000.00 cell: 214-707-3000

It's amazing that only 5 or 6 people back then ordered what pretty much anyone could walk into a Pontiac dealer and buy. What a fantastic car!!

On that particular car it's most likely the Orbit Orange paint.

too nice for me...I would feel guilty if I took it on a road trip with my buddies and a case of beer.

In 1970, I was 14. My parents took a day trip to the brotherhood winery in upstate New York. I was bored out of my skull. Well in the parking lot was THIS car. I took my fathers browning box camera and took a pic of it. I think I got my first boner! It is on my bucket list of cars to own. This car is gorgeous! I wish I could afford it. GLWS
