Hi guys,

I am about a year from completing my '69 Nova L78 restoration. When I get about 6 months or less from being done, I will start looking for the next project, which I think I would like to restore a '69 Z-28 next.

(1) What would you expect I would have to pay for an original drivetrain, bullet proof docs, '69 Z-28 project? I don't want a restored car. I want a project that I can do a full frame off concours restoration on.

(2) Does anyone have one for sale now; photos I can look at to see what kind of money buys what kind of project?

I am not super picky on colors, but needs to be original drivetrain and docs to prove it.

Thank you!

Seems to be that orig drive train with docs - needs restored

depends on how much resto is required as you know - sheetmetal, all the other parts beside the key drive train stuff is also pricey

I would think that it would be 40-50 because of the pedigree your asking for. Having said that, I have seen some restored for not much more (say 20K more) , albeit without orig engine (CE block) etc...

Others have some thoughts....??

I have one that I know of, hugger orange, been avg restored, no docs but the X code on trim tag - orig trans and rear...
Not what your asking for but I know the car since 1973 and it is with the same owner ever since. He is the 2nd owner.
