The Pontiac/not Pontiac arguement has been going on for years. There is nothing in any of the manuals, sales brochures or on the car that mentions Pontias. The Pontiac VIN starts with a 2 while the Beaumont VIN starts with a 7. The reason most, if not all, Beaumonts are titled as a Pontiac is because they were sold through Pontiac dealerships. I have owned my 68 Beaumont for 11 or 12 years and have done quite a bit of reasearch on Beaumonts. I have found no documentation or proof that they are Pontiacs.

A Pontiac is a Pontiac reguardless of whether is was built in the US or Canada. The Beaumont is not a Canadian Pontiac. And it's you're not your. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/whistle.gif
