I took this picture while I was at the bank. The women that drives it bought it in 1968. She has driven ever since. It is her daily driver, she likes the car, takes care of it and has no intentions of getting rid of it for a newer car. They do not interest her. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2014/08/full-13800-14657-20140804_140959.jpg

Very cool.....would look much better with something besides the Wal-Mart wheel covers though.

Cool! But she's house-bound in the winter? Public transit?

There use to be three. One was a 67 6 cylinder. The women died and one of the family got it and fixed it up. I saw it for sale for 11k. Another was a 68 Chevelle Malibu convertible 327. It was pretty rough and disappeared in the early nineties. I talked to the women once when I was a teenager working at the grocery store. As for the whit Malibu, we have NO public transportation here. I know it was just at the local Chevy dealer for engine work. I cringe at the cheap hubcaps but its still out there going. Doing what its original purpose was to get from A to B. I live in a depressed economy. Things here are not always easy

Anything else would get ripped-off.

That might be why the el-cheapos are on there now!

Two of my survivor cars (69 Chevelle SS and 69 Camaro 307/glide) were granny owned. They took excellent care of the cars.
