I thought I read somewhere that on the trim option that a X before the number meant buckets seats, no console on a 1969 Chevelle copo 4 speed or automatic, does anybody else know ? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif
COPO's used the same interior codes as a reg chevelle..never seen a X before the trim option

Buckets have a different number than the same color bench seat.

Yes I know bench and buckets have different numbers, I've seen 3 trim tags on copo and yenko one LB auto TR X765 blue buckets, one GR TR X756 black buckets 4 speed, one DY 4 speed TR X756 black buckets all don't have a console, except the LB auto, waiting to hear from a HO yenko black buckets auto on column, yenko put a hurst auto on the floor. Thanks Steve.

Steve, I only have two in my Baltimore list that have the X756. One is reported to be a COPO and the other a suspected Yenko. They are both Mar 1969 built chevelles. If you have additional info and it can be shared I would be interested in adding or updating my list. Thanks, Andy
I've got a call in with a buddy of mine who has a low mile survivor 69 SS that was ordered with buckets, no console. He's going to check his trim tag, I'll let you know what he says. His car was built in Framingham. Could have been specific to a factory too.

Thanks Phil, Also built date. I'm thinking was just early cars. Andy, I'll let you know about the other ones, when I find out, thanks Steve.

I've got a trim tag from a SS 13637 that had buckets, 4sp, no console, and no X. I just sold a SS 13680 configured the same, no X. Both cars were guaranteed SS396 equipped.
My buddy's car does not have an X on the trim tag. He bought the car from the original owner who ordered it with buckets/no console/4-speed, TR 756. It is a real SS, Framingham built.

I checked my lists and it appears the Baltimore assembly plant was the only one to use the X756 code for trim. It could be possible I just have not located any for the other assembly plants to date but with the differences varying between the plants it is likely limited to Baltimore assembled bodies. Andy
