This car is owned by a fellow board member and if I am not mistaken was for sale on here 18+/- months ago.
It sat in Floyd Garretts muscle car museum if I have the story correct.
The car upon evaluation had some issues which, given the overall unmolested nature of the car, deserved to be corrected.
It is a 12C X66 conv L35 M40 Dlx interior, Cortez over Blk blk roof.
The quarters were hung in the 80's and were not what is expected today (overlapped with poprivets and spotwelds). I cut the overlapped quarters then buttwelded everything back into place, reconstructed a butchered door jamb and painted the car.
I just painted the car back to the original cortez silver, cleaned the original interior, degreased-evaporusted, and relubricated all the door latches and window tracks.

Every paint color was matched, sprayed & checked, then corrected if required, to the original including the engine.
BTW Dupont Nason Grey epoxy sealer is a near perfect match for the original med dark Grey used on the bodies before paint.

A few hours of hard blocking with water and gentle soap I use a piece of 1" PVC pipe 10 inches long that was heated and flattened on a sheet of pyurex glass in the oven giving approx 1" ultra flat surface with a slight roll on either edge I make sure to hold the paper tight so it only cuts highs.

Thanks Darrell,
I had posted photos on the CRG regarding the front glass.
Until seeing this I had assumed all were Libby Owens Ford LOF or Pittsburg Plate Glass PPG.

KurtS said it wouldn't have been installed in the plant.
Steve Shauger asked if it had the original seal, which it did, however after answering his question I never heard anything else regarding the possibility of it being assembly line installed.

I suspected it was original given there was not a DOT mark and it was installed with the original seal.

The question is why was this glass used?

Anyone else have a NON DOT coded Shat-R-Proof glass installed with the original cloth type seal?

I remember you posting it on CRG but I didnt pay any attention to the glass till the other day when I was washing the car. I suspect it was a 3rd party supplier. One thing I have learned is never say never..

The seat vinyl was clean however the comfort weave still looked dirty/tired so I called a friend who cleans high end rugs and fabrics.
He gave me instructions and some cleaners which won't mildew and also kill odors then we extracted more crap from the comfort weave than I can believe.
The difference in feel is amazing, it looks better, is softer feeling and the cushions appear for lack of better word fuller.
Here are some taken with a macro lens

After I explained what I thought the cleaning pro offered some suggestions such as the direction of spray, cleaning solution etc. He explained that you need to extract at a higher rate than the volume of solution which is injected. The extraction head is approx 4" wide with a 1/8" opening running the width and the nozzle injects the solution at an angle towards the head. theoretically the solution loops from the nozzle through the fabric then right back through the fabric into the extraction head. Pulling the cleaner and dirt away. There is a clear section on the tube, I really had no idea how nasty a 45k mile interior could become. I don't know a name of the solution or if it was something he had developed after 15 years in the business, he said it was a solution of a non foaming oxy cleaner and a deodorizer which we then mixed with scalding hot water. 4 oz to a gallon.

As a Precaution I wanted to measure the cleaning solution before and after, the loss due to evaporation and wicking was less than 1%. We used a 5 hp carpet cleaning machine with a fabric extraction head.

Here is a gallon of solution from the pass front seat cushion.
