Some guys would simply flat clear over that "paint" to save the patina.

Lake Erie is fresh water and would have protected it better. LOL

As bad as that is, even here in Ontario Canada, you guys are really missing the BIG POINT!!!!
HE'S ASKING $4,500.00 FOR THAT RUSTED HULK???????
I could see $1,200.00-$1,500.00 for it, but no more then that.

Seems like could be a fair price to me....asking 4500 means probably bought for 3500 or 4k....just adding parts in my head...the rear could be worth more than $1200... motor minimally has some good BB only parts, brackets, etc... T-400 or Muncie would be some bucks... any other salvagable small pickings, I see front bumper guards..looks like remote mirror... possibly worth some $$$...
If it was an L-78, someone would probably fix it !!
still a real shame and was a nice truck back in the day !!!

If Canadian cars Did NOT have docs.....I don't think there would be many buyers due to the harsh winters and RUST <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/frown.gif

Canadian cars have good paper, and bad metal!!
My first Beaumont lacked floors, trunk, and a good portion of the frame............

Hell if it had the original lug nuts someone would buy it for them alone! last NOS set was $1000.

Would make a great parts truck for someone if they had an SS project or wanted to convert a Malibu with some SS goodies.
