Received word from Nancy that J.D. succumbed to his long battle with cancer last night. He has not posted on the Yenko site for some time but many of you knew him for his passion for Camaros and was a frequent attender of all things sYc. J.D. will be sorely missed and our condolences go out to Nancy and their families.

Oh my... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/frown.gif

I had talked to him a while back and helped him post pics of the Berger signs that they had made...I never knew he was having any issues....

Rest in peace sir...It was an honor to know you. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/flag.gif

I had talked to and had emails from J.D, also when he had the Berger signs made. I knew a few months ago that he was not doing very well and said that I wouldn't let on that I knew anything. Rest in peace Sir. It was my pleasure to have met you.

I first met J.D. & Nancy at the LaHarpe show when they brought their 2002 ZL-1. Over the next few years we spent many hours together at SCRs, MCACN, an Iowa Camaro show and on the phone. Anyone who spent any time around him knew of his passion for the 4th Gen Camaros.
I knew he was battling some serious health issues and wondered last week how he was doing. Rick gave me the news yesterday.
J.D. had posted some pix on the Mid-Iowa Camaro site September 18th from a recent show he attended in Iowa so we can hope he was still having some good days then.
Our prayers and Condolences to Nancy and their friends and families.

So sorry to hear that. He was good guy, we spoke frequentely during the dark times at GMMG and was instrumental with helping to get my Intimidator out of that mess. He was one of the most passionate 4th gen collectors ever, I know he will be missed here and at the GMMG forum which he co founded and contributed greatly to-

He was a VERY nice man. Met him at Vettfest in Chicago years ago. He loved GMMG Camaro's, had a few of them and proudly sent me pictures of them in his beautiful building adjacent to his house. J D had a heart attack maybe some time ago also. He told me about the heart attack as his way of saying " be very careful with your health, get in shape ".

He will be missed greatly.
