All 455 ho cars have a m22 when ordered with a stick.

Fixed it for ya <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif And Don already knows this - he has forgotten more about Pontiacs than anybody on here knows.

I thought the 455HO Firebirds sold for more money than that; seems like a pretty good deal to me.

When I was in high school and working at a Chevron station one of the customers had one in a brown color like that. What a car <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/3gears.gif ...I helped with some performance upgrades and he would let me take it for a spin.
Always liked those "birds" <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Nice sleeper look with a vinyl top and no spoilers.

Agreed. He's been trying to sell it for months, think the color and fact it's in Canada my be limiting factors. Very cool car in Poncho circles, hard to come by..

Stay around Brown will do it everytime
Is Canyon Copper the same color as the 1968 Camaro Corvette Bronze? In 68, the color, when shot on a Corvette, as called Copper Bronze.
Only reason I ask is that I have never seen a picture of a Corvette Bronze 68 that did it justice. They look spectacular in the sunlight in person.
Also, that top doesn't look "dark brown" to me. Perhaps it was changed.
I am a big fan of the Formula cars.

Canyon Copper was called Burnt Orange on 1971 Chevrolets, Bittersweet on 1971 Oldsmobiles, and Bittersweet Mist on 1971 Buicks.
I agree about why this car has been sitting. Second Generation Firebird fans are usually really turned off by vinyl tops on these cars, and copper/brown is not a popular color with Formula Firebird fans. Even with the rare 455 H.O. and 4-speed, it's one of those cars where the overall visual appeal is hurting the sale.
Here's a 71 Judge in Canyon Copper.

I always liked it on Corvettes.
Definitely not a match to 1968 Camaro color Corvette Bronze.

Another thing that hurst this car is having air conditioning on the car. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/no.gif

Actually, it is the opposite in Pontiac circles. A/C and a four speed are highly sought after with the 455HO. Partly because it was the only "special" Pontiac engine that you could get the A/C and a stick on.
(And us old people like to be refrigerated when we shift) <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif
No A/C with any RAIV
No A/C with a SD455 and a four speed

Color combo kills it for me....black interior and a black vinyl top would make the car more appealing IMO... I don't mind vinyl tops...as long as they are the proper grain and a good color.....and not holding a crusty roof together...

Those formula hoods were some of the best ever made.

I prefer this custom beauty that appeared in Corvette Summer. Best of both worlds.

True on color combo. If it was that with Black roof and interior, with spoiler I would have bought it. Be nice DRIVER in the summer months

The infamous Jon Poncherello (Erik Estrada) Firebird from the CHiPs TV Show in the 1970s. It was later used in Corvette Summer. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/sick.gif
