This past week - I was contacted by a gentleman that claims to have purchased the Holy Grail 1969 SS396 Chevelle.
ALL Original 1969 SS396 with 16482 act. miles. Checkout the original Goodyears. I love the mud guards, reflective door edge guards, bumperettes and the front end guard :-)
Simply AMAZING!

Just wanted to share a sweet story about a 69 Chevelle I acquired recently. One owner 69 SS 396. The car is basically unbelievable as is the story. I purchased a car from 84-year-old guy and yes he is still alive. He ordered this 69 SS big block on Halloween 1968. He picked up the car December 20, 1968 from a Chevy dealership in Minnesota. The car has never seen a Minnesota winter and allegedly only been out in the rain one time it's whole life. The car was special ordered by this gentleman with Lemans blue black top and blue interior bucket seat 4 speed. The car is showing 16 482 actual miles and original documented. If you can believe this the car is still sitting on the original Goodyear poly glas tires in nice condition. The car is like brand-new and amazing. The interior is brand-new and the exterior is about the same and never repainted. The gentleman had the original 1968 title card for the car. 2 purchase agreements when he bought it one from a printer in one hand written by the owner of the dealership The original owners manual with the protecto plate in the glove box with his name on it. A dealer checklist before the he picked it up also a dealer copy of the build sheet all original. When he purchased the car it came with two sets of keys one set he used and kept in his pocket almost every day and the other said he hung up and never put in the ignition the car came with both sets. He also gave me other documentation when he was price shopping to purchase the car new and 68. This is a once-in-a-lifetime find and just wondering if anybody out there has ever seen a one owner 16,000 actual miles SS big block car that has never been touched that looks like it came off the showroom. The amazing part is the gentleman installed a clear bug deflector on the car which he purchased from the Chevy dealership and also mudflaps. I have a beautiful Chevelle collection from 1968 to 1972 my color of choice is red but this particular car is blue and it is awesome. All of my Chevelle's are frame off restored and beautiful but I've never seen a one owner original like this in my entire life.
