What's the correct taper for the hood stripes?

My '69 Z clone is going to the body shop in a couple of days. I'm changing the blue stripes(on it now) to black. I've recently read that the stripes have a taper to them. Is the taper only on the front or also on the rear stripes. How much of a taper is there? And where is it measured from. Are the rear stripes tapered?

id get an assembly manual for 20 bucks... they have the dimensions clearly listed.. and then you will also have a great reference for any future work on your car... but maybe soomeone here can post some pics of the ass. manual that has that page. good luck !

Looks like I need to dig out my assembly manual. I have and have used it many times in the passed. I moved 6 months ago and it's still packed away somewhere. I'll find the info.

Do a search. Pretty sure fast Eddie (enio45) posted some pics and dimensions. I remember comparing measurements with Eddie (we both painted late 69 cars and both were the first repaints, so we had some stripes to start with) and we had virtually identical drawings and dimensions. Maybe .020 here and there diff.
MarkC over on Camaros.net has poste some as well for his pace car (same dimensions).
