There's a few alumni on here that will enjoy this vintage homemade movie the Lange family took.

I am too young to have experienced this but it makes me wish that I could have. I tell wife my frequently that if I could I would love to have been a teenager in the mid to late 50's. Nice video.
The epitome of horesepower & looks.

11 second street car with I bet 85% stock GM parts on it. Can't beat that.
..and deceiving 396 fender emblems. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif
Someone flew a drone over the old dragstrip today.Amazed how much of the old asphalt is still there.
He starts from the starting line down past the finish line, which ends into a housing complex. Then back tracks from the finish line,to the starting line and return road.

Boy, does that bring back memories! Spent many a Sunday there back in the 60's.

Other than some houses it looks like that Strip could still be running today.
Not as dense as Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.
Vargo Dragway in Perkasie, Pa. is the same way. Looks pretty close to what it did in the mid 60's.
Hate to see these go under.
