My 1987 Hoses (repop) have had "Splitting" issues for years. They require constant trimming back as they age and fall off during driving from use and vibration. I was interested in some replacements but imagine from the feedback above nothing has changed from the mfr. vendors offering ',,,Your Key to a quality restoration,," One vendors company logo statement.
I have resorted to going to a local hobby shop and sourcing some thin(Brand K&S) wall small od/id brass tubing and reamed the ID of the plastic "T" to allow insertion of a very short piece of tubing to "NECK" down the "T" to reduce the stretch required for the canister lines in hopes to slow down some of the splitting. I have noticed on my set up the lines from the T's to the canisters to be the worst offenders.

I would guess the aftermarket suppliers have NOT figured out that the hoses they sell are junk. I ran into this 10 years ago. I would use a silicone hose replacement if not a show car.

I bought my repop hoses back in 2003 and they all split where they connect on to a Tee or the tank or the actuators. What a pain

I believe I have a bunch of repop hoses that I acquired from a guy who had a 1968 RS.

Let me know if you're interested Al....you can have it. I can bring it to MCACN.
