IMO spent the money on transportation and use MCR&D in Illinois. Rick has done two high end cars for me in the past ten years and the quality of the work is matched only by his meticulous correct restoration. If that isn't enough he's a straight shooter, humble, and finishes on a given timeline- something hard to find in these parts..
Give the guys at Mascar Auto in Costa Mesa a call, great reputation, can turn a full restoration in under a year and have experience with all brands. Have done lots of cars for me and others. Ask for Kenny or Adam.

I agree with using Rick at MCR&D after seeing Dana's original 1968 blue Desert Rat Yenko Camaro. I had a chance to look over the car on a 4-post lift very close from top to bottom. It is the very best restoration I have seen done on a car ever. There was not a detail left untouched and everything was done perfectly.

Don't think local. Pay the shipping and send to Rick at MCR&D.
Highly recommend Custom Cars here in Lagrange Il.,their team really know what's what and their resources are 2nd to none.
http://customcarsunlimited.com/ ....Dave Armstrong even uses them.
