Where's the vault you keep these treasures in ?

Looks like some of those Pro,Super Stock drivers needed an alarm clock.

Umm, I think I might know one of the cars in that video. Right at the 2.56/2.57 mark there is a green convert. Ford with a black top. I believe that was one of the grew guys from the current IHRA Pro Stock team of Konigshofers. Mike Konigshofer is the crew chief on my cars and the one crew guy by the name of Bill (don't know his last name) ran a convertible Cobra Jet Murcury Montego at this time. One of One made as per the Ford guys. I recall he won Stock or Super Stock class at one of the big races in the states around 1970, Indy I believe.

Can't be many "big" Ford convertibles racing back then.

Priceless!
I did not even know what drag racing was in 1970, as I had just got here the year before as a 10 year old boy.
That has changed as for the last three years it has been my home track.

Boy! What a cool video! Thanks for sharing. Gotta love the early Stockers and Super Stockers (especially those Oldsmobiles). Early in the video, there is a quick glimpse of a white '68 Camaro with "Wybles" lettered on the door----that was Dave Strickler's '68 Z/28 that eventually was restored and later raced by Jerry MacNeish. I see Harry Wyble once in a while, but see his son and daughter at least once a week. By the way, that Camaro now resides in the Rick Hendrick collection.
