I followed this auction a bit and I would never have thought that they could have gotten that many years of dirt off a car so flawlessly.....truly a great piece of history....

I spent a lot of time over and under that car. It's very interesting.

Sets the Bar for Virgin originality, Restoration and Judging Standards I'm sure !
looks like that absurd $93,000 winning bid is a pittance of what that Car's true Intrinsic Value truly is .........monetary guess ?
Moderate to Deep 6 Fgures ????

I owned a Gorgous Ultra Clean 'Old Lady's Red on Red SS 300 Horse '62 in the early 80's....but it had a 100,000 more miles

Me too. That 63 was at the Cleveland Piston Power Autorama last March. The guys saw me using my mag light checking it out and invited me in to get a better look. This car is quit a learning tool if you have never seen, or are to young to understand just what a finished production car actually looked like back in the day. These examples are truly worth studying.... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/scholar.gif

They were nice folks and it's an amazing car. One of the best originals I've ever seen.
