Yesterday I noticed that my good friend Joel had joined the site and I want to introduce him to you. Joel is a graphic artist of extraordinary talent. His works have been displayed in several galleries and also used on many drag racing and car show event flyers and billboards. If anyone is in need of a show display board for their car I recommend that you give him the opportunity to show you what he can do.
Joel also has one of the most complete collections of vintage drag racing photos anywhere, specializing in Stock, Super Stock and FX cars. He's one of the "Good Guys" in this hobby. Welcome Joel!

His screen name is his name. I sent him a nudge to come on and say hello.

Joel currently has one of his paintings done back in '76 and owned by a noted collector on display at a show at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston titled Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The show is open through May 10th '15. The painting is called Robot War (one of his many aviation illustrations). Joel's prediction of the future military hardware in his painting from 1976 has become a terrible reality.

Wow! Thanks Verne, that's quite an introduction. I'm glad to join the group. As with many of you all here I'm pretty busy but I hope to jump in and contribute from time-to-time. I love all genres of racing history, but my years of interest vary with each genre.
