Beautiful; one of my favorite color combos on a 67/68 with the RS option. Sweet.

Looks just like I remember Camaros looking in the early 1980s. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Looks great.. nice to see an SS hood and not the belly button cowl jobs.
Car looks like the typical late 70's/early 80's cars we all remember
Great job.
Where did you find the Cragars and tires?

I bought a Craftsman random orbital buffer/polisher probably around 2000 or so, and it's SO much easier than doing it by hand!

Would the word "jealous" apply here? That is what I am feeling. Congrats on "killer" snags.

Looking really good Darrell. I really like that car and hope to add a 67 to my garage once my other projects are wrapped up.
I like that breather on there.

Instead of removing the aluminum radiator, I'd just paint it. Eastwood makes an underhood black paint. When we throw an aluminum radiator into ours, I'm going to paint it to hide it a bit better.

Fantastic look. I know many of you guys look at bias ply's as the devil but it just completes the look...and it shows here. No matter how well you accessorize your day 2 car running radials just kills it.

(Remember, I'm 17) If I could afford to, the Camaro would probably have a set of Polyglas shoved under it. E60 front, L60 rear. But $300 a tire just isn't really viable for me.

Darrell, your signature photo reminds me of Friday night cruises when we'd park and leave the parking lights on. The whole car reminds me of those days!

Retired the Cragars for a little while but the problem was the 15x8.5" AR's I had rubbed in the front so I got a couple 15x6's and swapped front tires. Larger rear tires are in the near future but after the front end has settled down a little the wheels are growing on me again. Granted they arent Cragars but I am starting to like them.
What size are the rear wheels?
Because if you want wider tires..... (I don't have any to sell or anything, I just seriously love the look)

Hey DC, be careful with the plastic T-Handles. I had one in my '69 Z28 thinking it would be a perfect match for my white houndstooth interior. I cracked it in half on the second time using the car. I'd hate to see that happen here too...

Awesome car. Nothing like a big block and a 4 speed. The Cragars look GREAT on it. I loved the look of N50s and Cragars back in the '70s and '80s.

I talked to the guy who is bringing your green car to SCR20 at the Car Craft Nationals Saturday. Are you going to have both cars there?
