YES; we are always the weekend<span style="font-style: italic"> before</span> Thanksgiving, which is November 21-22 this year. The hotel contracts for the DoubleTree, Embassy, Crowne Plaza and aLoft have all been signed and pricing and info is on our website now; www.mcacn.com. (http://www.mcacn.com) We are waiting for the direct booking links for the hotels, which should be up within the next week or so.

The car is VERY rare to start with. G code 406/405 4 speed with 4:10 rear in a base Ford 300 sedan. 406 is on the stand and a very rare and real Ford SOHC 427 in the bay...BKH

I made contact with the owner of the 1966 Canso Intruder L79 Post Sedan.

The warm welcome invitation has been extended!!

I will look into some transportation options as this car is the perfect Canadian representative for our display!!

At normal shows the owner mentioned his Canso Intruder wagon sometimes gets more attention, but I can assure you people will fly to Chicago just to see this car!! Who has ever seen one??

Sorry to jump the gun, my Dad was talking to the owner at the show but didn't get his name.......we figured we would easily get his name from the restoration shop that had the show but he didn't register..........I will find him don't worry, just not as easy as I thought.

Dan wouldn't consider having this car in the Post Sedan Showcase as his buddy Verne should get this car as it is a 409 car first and formost!

This is not to say we wouldn't love to have this car in the show, whether in the 409 Showcase if it meets Vernes criteria or as an individual entry.

I appreciate the help very much. While we already have a '63 425hp convertible signed up, that Belair would be a great addition due to the body style, super rare Cordovan Brown paint and original owner history (racing). I'm also wondering if the chrome wheels are the rarer than rare factory optional chrome wheels. They were offered in '63 in 14x5 and that's what those wheels look like to me. I hope I get to talk to the owner.

Thanks for the note. We are all set for this one for our Oldsmobile spot. We are limiting this display to <span style="font-style: italic">one car per brand</span>. I was able to visit Chris a little while ago to check out his cool Invader and to twist his arm a little:-) His car is simple and cool.......only two options......a radio.....and an L79.........wait for it............that means no four speed option.....THREE ON THE TREE!!!!!

He has all the four speed parts to convert but I suggest TOTT is cooler!!

We are sharing a trailer &quot;The Canadians are coming&quot;

A MCACN/PSMCDR regular has graciously rented me a trailer so we can share our cars at the superbowl of car shows. (Thanks Bruno Beltrame) PS he is bringing a Pontiac so nice you will cry!!

A little bump for the Mercury guys out there!!!!

We had a 1967 Mercury 202 R Code black with red guts lined up but the owner has had a health issue (recovering very well) that he needs time to recover. He is excited to bring one of a few low mile rare lightweight Fords next year.

Somebody here must know of a crazy powerful, show car condition, perfectly documented Post Sedan Mercury.....
