Getting ready to sell my 1972 Super Cheyenne SWB Pickup
Looking for opinions on pricing because I have yet to find a truck comparable to this one.
Original documents include Spid on glove box door, build sheet, vin tag in driver's door.
All original glass, spare tire, drive train, and body panels. One repaint many years ago that is lacquer checked
but still shows very well. Engine compartment is original with tags still present as well as all dated components.
Options as per build sheet Tinted glass, door edge guards, air conditioning, wood bed, big block, tilt, PS, PB, tach, AM/FM, Super Cheyenne,
hugger orange, white houndstooth. Added NOS options cruise control, shoulder harnesses, bed rails, and spot light.
Any opinions are appreciated as pickups are a little harder to determine pricing. Thanks Shane

This was at mecum Kissimmee. 75% original paint, original owner up until a few years ago. Very solid truck. A lot of these tend to have metal repairs in the cab and the replacement sheetmetal fits horribly. Sold 23,000.

Nice.

I own a 72 long wheel base HO/Whte Highlander edition with the orange houndstooth.

Not nearly as nice as yours though.

I'd give ya 18-23 all day long, I think current market for Cheyennes have risen a lil. Check this year's Barrett Jackson results. Of course AZ is lock stock and barrel truck country

Had one back in the day -- those have got to be the nicest riding Chevy pickups ever ... NASCAR still uses that "truck-arm' type rear suspension. TAZ

Very nice truck, Shane! Similar to mine except you've got the big block and hugger orange going for you. Very striking! The Supers are pretty loaded already. Mine has the POP and dealership paperwork, dealer installed cruise and the factory vacuum gauge. One repaint, replaced cab corners but all original driveline, etc. I wouldn't take less than $25K for mine but then I'm enjoying it way too much right now. https://www.dropbox.com/lightbox/home/new%20wheels%20with%20caps

Real nice and whatever the price, someone's going to be a lucky new owner!
I expect many of us here had these trucks back in the day, mine was a '69 and factory purple as available for 69/70 up here in Canada.
Best of luck w/ the sale!

Fresh paint and the truck is high 20's to mid thirties. They have risen quite a bit lately. You have one of the nicest color combo's and desireable option list to boot. I have a friend with a dark green survivor big block, a/c truck longbed and he thinks he can get mid 20's. shorties always are in demand.

I think $7000 is way cheap for a strip and repaint. When I was doing restrations as a business, a media blast and repaint would start at about $10,000 and go up from there.
