I came across these two Chevelles in the Ken Lingenfelter Collection while trying to find the current owner of the Yenko Chevelle Ron Norman used to own. Does anybody know anything about these two Chevelles? The COPO car appears to be Garnet Red and has a black and Ivory bucket seat interior without a console and is a 4 speed car. Is this the Canadian COPO that Steve Sandlin owned at one time? The Yenko is a bucket seat car without a console and is a 4 speed car as well. Is this the Joseph Chevrolet car that needed a restoration a few years ago? I assume they are both the real deal, but I couldn't find any information on them.

That could be Ron Norman's Yenko. I have a picture of it from many years ago and it also had the TT wheels and Polyglas tires.
I don't think it is Don.Ron Normans had a rear mounted antenna.
Unless someone later on changed that.

Don,
Wasn't this Yenko at Chev-Abration like in 2002-03 for the Yenko / COPO Feature. I have hard photo`s of it somewhere here in the house.

Rick - Good pickup. The picture I have on file does show a rear mount.
Dan - Could be, although I was not there that year. The picture you show has Rally's which could easily have been changed to TT's later. Also, it looks like Wide Treads on the car you posted (I could be wrong due to my vision).

I was there at Moss-Park....among all the COPO's and Yenko's.....but I cannot think of the name of the owner at the time of this BY Yenko :-(
