found a 70 GTO with Voe option on the PHS document. But the car was built in July in Fremont. Could this have been done that late? The guy said his father bought it when it was a year old and vouches for it being legit.

get your own PHS..if its that important to be correct

I thought it was an early option that was discontinued..July seems pretty late...but ive only seen 2 or 3 in my life

That's the blue car or the green car?

If it's on the PHS - then that seems pretty conclusive (being the build documentation and all).

Unless it showns on the option content but then there is a memo underneath that says "build without". I have seen that before.

The phs is recent from another possible buyer and it says "dr controlled exhaust" $63.xx

Is that option alone desireable enough to bring a rough car back from the dead? It is a 4 speed but no other options to speak of

I'd love to have a car w/this option...if nothing else, just to make see my neighbors reaction....haha

I think this is one of the coolest options ever offered by GM.

...just my humble opinion...

A PHS is needed.

Friend in-the-know doesn't have a factory bulletin other than it was banned from PA and he thinks it was discontinued after the Super Bowl.

All the testimonials on that forum match my conversation with the guy. He said it was real rough more than once. Original engine is out of car and had a rod through the oil pan. I was going to look at it tommorrow but getting cold feet. A ton of work for 1 cool option.

You got my email? If not, check it.

To me, the guy should have the PHS for such a machine.
