Some got Firestone Sports Car 200, some got Goodyear Wide Tread GT.
I don't believe there is a pattern for which tire.
Just random.

FWIW I seem to see Firestones Sport Car 200's on later cars, Goodyear WTGT's on the majority. Not scientific, just an observation..BKH

good point - my late car 10D (oct 69 car) had the firestones......nice look and nice change from the majority of what is used today.....i think the firestones repo today are more pricey than the goodyears...

My 08A (late) car came with Goodyears.
I have Firestones now. Just because I got a smoking deal from GTO Don.
He has another set for sale now.

I know of a 1 owner 02D Z/28 with the original SC200 spare in the trunk. Also noted an 03B Rallye Green/Black vinyl Yenko with it's original SC200 spare at SC-Reading many years ago. The pilot '69 Z/28 in the October '68 Motor Trend had Firestones.

The number of Z/28s & 9737 COPOs with Firestone SC200s is low but seems to be evenly distributed over the production run.

Based on photos from the original owner my 01C Van Nuys Z came with Goodyears.
