Pics coming later this afternoon.
My dad called me and mentioned he and my nephew went to look at a Project 64 elco 283 4bbl, pg fawn beige over bench fawn beige, A/C, tilt, PW, PB, PS, wire wheel covers... was it common for a Elco to be so loaded?

No, they were usually the farm trucks. That car was very specially ordered by a dealer owner, rich cowboy, or for the wife of a well off husband or for himself. Can you get a ncrs document on that car?

My dad called asking me about options on elcos... he has pics of everything, VIN TT and etc he is emailing them to me later today. Belongs to a friend of my dads and was on his family farm for 30 years he is the 2nd owner. Dad thought it may be a dealer demo. I will see if he has dealership info.

Back in the day...I used to cruise in a 64 Elco...283/2bbl, 3 spd on the floor...white with slotted mags, black cover, dual exhaust. I thought it was the coolest car in the world...learned to drive std. shift in that car. Those were the days..

That is a common misconception...
Here is a photo taken by the original owner of a 68 396 this photo was taken a few days or so after delivery. Note the alternator position.
