<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-size: 14pt">FOR SALE: 1966 300 POST CHEVELLE
</span></span>
Up for sale is a rare 1966 300 Post Chevelle, original paint code DD - Mist Blue with a pattern cloth and vinyl interior in excellent condition. It was purchased April 19th, 1966 from Galles Chevrolet in Albuquerque, NM approximately 49 years ago. The original owner, Jean Yocum, did not even know this plain jane 300 Post was going to go through a transformation when he sold it. I have no records of any previous owners or knowledge of who made the radical change with a big block Chevrolet 396, muncie 4 speed, dual exhaust and a 12 bolt posi to create a desirable muscle car.
These Post cars have become very extinct but desirable among muscle car enthusiasts. From its total sleeper appearance and dog dish hub caps to its no frill interior and bench seat, it is now sought out as a great collector car.
This 300 Post is completely rust-free, no dings or dents and retains all of its original sheet metal including no repairs on the floor pans and quarter panels, etc. The paint condition is excellent and the interior is immaculate. A high point of this car is the condition of the trunk with the original spatter paint in pristine condition with correct markings. An excellent example of a well taken care of, dry, New Mexico car. All glass is original and marked except the front windshield. Chrome and stainless is in excellent condition. The rubber door seals are original GM with little skin wear. Has original dated GM seat belts, original dated driver’s mirror and the original front grill is in great condition with all original GM fasteners.
