Yep -- watched that ... he climbed out of the furr-ball and waved to the crowd.

Something else -- if you look at the photos, Kalitta had a few candles out on the left bank and he was getting a first hand look at the action. It's a good thing too -- if he were on full motor, he probably would have been part of that furr-ball.
