white wall tire blue protective

I have several NOS bias ply tires that I want to properly display as spares. One Firestone still has the blue on it but in general the tire needs cleaning, Does any one have a formula or know a source for a coating that I can put back on after the clenaup that will look like the factory blue or green.

When I worked for a Good year store 25 years ago we were told it was a soap solution and we used a water hose with no scrubbing to remove it.
