I'm looking for Gault Chevrolet Co., Inc out of Endicott, New York my 68 Z28 was sold there - would love anything, decal or license plate and or license plate frame for I don't know what they had back then. Don't think it was a rear emblem for there are no holes in the body panel and the car still has original paint. Any help will be appreciated!

Still in operation today so if you haven't yet, it may be worth a call asking for info/old employee names etc?
Cool your '68 is from there as that's the year Gault Chevrolet sponsored drag racer Wally Bell so may be worth a whirl contacting him too...

Good luck!

Thanxs Paul & Pete. I might have an original emblem located and allegedly enroute to me via US mail.

I wish I saw this about a week ago. There was a Gault Chevrolet business card in a junk box at a swap meet I was at. The salesman is Ed Liddy.

If you go back again next year to the swap meet and it still in that box I'm interested. Dave

You're right Marl also you can just read Pocono on the lower area of the tower in the pic.
I may be wrong but believe Wally Bell more than raced there and had something to do w/ the PDL operation?:hmmm:

im going to speak with Bill gault who is the son of the owner of gault chevrolet in 1967. I believe it is a 4 generation dealership from the 30s or so?? I never thought much to ask him about the dealership back when I bought the 67 rs ss from him. I believe it was the same type of deal as with my 69 L89 that someone from the dealership called up people that were on the old paperwork ,and used the info to buy back cars they originally sold. Both the 67 rs ss and the 69 L89 ended up 40 plus years later in the same town they were purchased.
