Recently acquired a '62 Corvette known as "Hitman", which records show was sold new at Rosenthal.

Best to describe it as a barn find, as it sat in the last owners yard for over 6 years, unattended.

Still working on history, but word is Jenkins and Stahl may have had a hand in its build. Ran in the NE in B/Gas then Modified Eliminator in the '70s early '80s, then on to North Carolina, used mainly for bracket racing. Two owners in NC, last one raced it for 25+ years before parking it in his yard.

We hope to have it track before long, going to leave it "as raced", just going over a few safety and maintenance items.

Tom,
Mousie Brown is still alive. I just don't have his contact info. HE was the service manager at Rosenthal and campaigned several cars through them, beginning in '62.

Cool ride for sure Tom.

Looks like it has a Fuel Injection emblem - is it a real FI car?

I have no idea, but supposedly a former NCRA judge looked at the car and said very possible because of a mounting plate or ?, maybe on fender, for part of the FI, that only fuelies would have.

Unfortunately the engine builder's name is not legible.
