That sounds like an awesome project and in my opinion, very fairly priced. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks guys, it will be killer when restored. The original owner kept everything so I'm guessing it is a matter of time before he finds the dealer docs.

Wow and what a sweet deal for someone!
Sounds like a very cool original owner too, hopefully he comes through w/ the paperwork.
And whatever happened to the L72 car...maybe paper for it is included in the other stuff?

Thanks for the kind words guys. This has got to be a one of a kind...and I believe the 2nd or 3rd '69 L89 El Camino that I'm aware of.

Unfortunately I have no pics of the truck...it's about an hour and a half drive away, in storage. I'm happy to answer any questions, and may head out there one morning to take a bunch of pics.

VIN is 136809K464558

I thought it was an odd choice for a company car, but as I said, this guy was/is a major gearhead :-)

This special truck is still available. Had to reschedule the showings so I'm likely to head down to the garage this weekend or the next.

I appreciate all the interesting trade offers I've received, but for now I'd like to sell the truck outright to free up some room.

Tony. I would like some pics if you could. Send them to Jeff Luzzi at [email protected]. Thanks. Also the list of options on the car. Thanks

Sure Jeff, I should have pics available early next week.

Thanks everyone for your patience. It's not ideal having a car stored a hundred miles away from your house....

Is that the original tach in the cluster ? Just curious , and maybe I missed it in the description , but shouldn't that be a 6,500 redline ?
Thx and good luck with the sale

Hi, great question, the original owner told me the tach died early in the car's life and was replaced with NOS. He is looking for the original 6000rpm redline tach which he believes he kept in the rafters of the garage.
