Don't know if this will be of any benefit to anyone or not but I figured I'd share it anyways. If TPTB feel it needs to be moved to a more appropriate forum, please feel free.
A while back I started having trouble getting Photobucket video links to display correctly on the forum. I just figured out the issue--it has to do with the suffix tags at the end of the Photobucket code.
Below is a video link as directly copied/pasted from Photobucket:
<a href="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/VMCP777/FS/th_001_zpstdx0n4vq.mp4" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/VMCP777/FS/th_001_zpstdx0n4vq.mp4 (http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/VMCP777/FS/001_zpstdx0n4vq.mp4)</a>
Notice the ".mp4" suffix at the end of the tags? That's the problem. If you convert the tag to read ".jpg" instead, it will show up as a thumbnail link as below:
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/VMCP777/FS/th_001_zpstdx0n4vq.jpg (http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/VMCP777/FS/001_zpstdx0n4vq.mp4)
