This is a slow project I was doing for a friend. Thanks to the great resource of people at the site, Matt Fast67VelleNO2 was able to lend me a set to reference. Here are the results, thanks Matt. I outsourced the laser cutting on this job and am very happy with the results.

Now as you can see, the reference piece has a torched hole so I left this blank. Fortunately, the missing bolt is for an existing bolt on the Mustang chassis. Should be simple to remove the bolt, scribe it, drill and bolt it up. Here is part of a 1969 article which just happens to be installing Mustang tabs.

So I don't know how popular or in-demand Mustang tow tabs are. These tabs are $175 and $12 for the USPS flat rate box.

One other interesting thing I noticed the last time i was at Atco, was that these tabs are bent in such a way that someone used them on a 1957 Chevy. Though I realize these are not correct NMW for the 57, I thought they looked pretty good.

If anyone is considering using them on a 57, let me know. I have't welded all 6 up and could possibly customize something.

Does anyone else have any pics of tabs installed on a Mustang? I would love to see some.

Thanks!

Thanks guys! I am happy with how they came out. Other than Dave, Dan and Matt I don't think we have many Day 2 Mustang types here. Anyone have any pics of Mustangs with tabs?
