I have the engineering brake release charts for '69 and later (passenger car and truck for '69; truck only for 70 and newer).

I'll check the book when I get home.

1969 and 1970 Chevy B car (…at a minimum).

I wouldn’t be surprised if it spans more model year/usages than that, but my charts start in 1969, and the format changed in 1971 making it less obvious.

This is how it was done in the days before Excel spreadsheets….

Wanting to revisit this. I found this tag in the console of the green car and I want to know if it could be the original one. This car originally was power drums '68.

Ugh, the dreaded power drum front brakes; have them on mine and those will be 1 of 3 changes I'll be doing ASAP. The first was seat belts, second is front disc brakes and third is power steering. Cheapskates couldn't pony up a couple hun to get these in the first place?!?!?

Well, In my case my father purchased the car to drag race. He didnt want ps, disc & really didnt want power but it was mandatory when he ordered. After ending the racing he found a setup and installed it along with ps. I plan on keeping the disc but have thought about removing the ps but probably wont.
