View Full Version : Shed Find 1969 z/28
Shed Find!! I've been after this car for the past few years, it's a Canadian documented code 67 Burgundy 729 white houndstooth deluxe interior X77 1969 Z/28 ! Very unique color combo. Flat hood car D80 spoiler pkg N34 wood grain wheel and U-17 gauges to name a few.
Been sitting since the mid 80s! This car is going to be treated to a nut and bolt restoration this winter.

I saw my burgandy Z today. It was just striped so still covered but got some pictures. The fender is inside and the extension was outside. The sun really makes it pop

Great find. Love to hear these stories. Is any of the original drive train still with the car?

Great find and color combo. Look forward to following the restoration.
Here's another photo, you might remember the 68 L-78 sitting beside it from another thread.

Burgundy was considered dark and got white stripes and Garnet Red was light and got black stripes http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2015/08/full-11052-30328-dscf6351.jpg

Charley these pics are tremendous. There is a guy in the neighborhood with an original Burgundy flat hood Z with a white houndstooth interior just like you have pictured. With one exception...the original paint is so worn that you can see the awesome patina and cracks. Very neat looking. Although he's missing his original smog system. I have to stop this guy one day and take some close up photos!!! That's my goal. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/worship.gif
