i have a distant friend with 2 or 3 wheels..i dont remember seeing caps...i bought some AR daisy's from him, and almost bought the GTs because they had no chips or damage...i will run his number down this weekend and call him and get specifics..i thought they where 15s, but its been way over a year.
i will try, but i'm not saying its gonna happen..i have no clue if he even has them still..but around here stuff like that doesnt move

Hey Mark....thanks for inquiring. I am still looking for an original set to complete my restoration project. Hard to find......hopefully my persistence will pay off.
Factory versions were available with black spoke wheels with red or black inlayed GT center caps. Has anyone seen these at the local swap meets? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

The 1969 Cragar GT Factory literature (see attached) lists a 14x6 rim for a 69 Camaro with or without disc brakes or 15x6 rim for a 69 Camaro disc brake option. However the 15x6 rim is only listed for a 68 Camaro disc brake application.
The overall dimension of a 68 Camaro 4-piston caliper assembly when installed on the rotor is larger than the 69 Camaro caliper installed therefore requiring the larger 15x6 rim and according to notation 1 requires the corresponding spacer adapter kit 29100 for clearance.
Still searching.......

Ah...OK.
And is the spacer unique?
Can you find it aftermarket?

I sold a mint set of four 15x6 to a member of this site a few years ago. I can ask him if they are available.

Good eye Tony...you are correct. After reviewing the pictures more closely the inner flat surface of the rim should be wider if they were 15x6. That makes looking at the pictures less painful...lol. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/no.gif
